BigBelly puts the Squeeze on Garbage

A BigBelly will almost never refuse refuse, and Queens residents are finding out that that's not double-talk. The solar-powered trash compactor named BigBelly for the volume of garbage it can hold has been deployed at locations around the city for more than a year. The BigBelly that made its debut at Queens Borough Hall on Earth Day in April 2005 has exceeded all expectations.
